Training and Development for seafarers:
Training & Development of our seafaring staff is carried out in a number of ways:
- The Company has an in-house training centre + a full-scale ship-simulator to create awareness about environmental issues and crew responsibilities.
- All ship officers are required to visit the head office for briefings before joining vessels. Here, they are briefed and updated about new developments and practices in the industry.
- Regular updates are sent to the vessels on new developments in the industry as well as in the Company.
- Officers are often sent to attend value addition courses to enhance their skills. The costs for these courses are borne by the Company.
